Veteran real estate consultant Brian Hunter’s journey to the
career and reputation he now enjoys is an interesting one.
“At first I thought I would just buy and sell real estate as an
investment, but once I got involved in how it all works,
I began to realize how great it would be to help others
with their own real estate goals as well,” he says. “And I’ve
never looked back.” With over 16 years as a licensed Realtor
in Northern Virginia, Hunter has a complete understanding of
the area. He was raised in Springfield/Burke and has been a
resident of the area for 38+ years.
With a criminal justice background, Brian is a stickler for
detail, paying close attention to not only the big picture his
clients are looking to achieve, but also to the finer print of
contracts and disclosures. He knows the ins and outs of
Virginia’s complex real estate purchase and sale agreement
and prides himself in being able to explain its details in
terms so that each of his clients goes into a transaction with
eyes open. “Coaching clients, helping them work from the best
possible position, negotiating terms in their favor and calmly
getting them through the whirlwind of details -- all of these
are things I try hard to streamline for them,” he says.
Understanding that his clients have a lot on their plate, Brian
takes great pride eliminating problems before they happen.
“I don’t like leaving anything to chance. Making it look easy,
keeping everyone calm and focused... there’s nothing like it.
I love being in the middle of it all.”
Never leaving anything to chance and in constant
communication with his clients, Hunter works diligently
to achieve the best outcome for them.
“We appreciated having you as our real estate agent in the sale of
our Springfield home. We joked along the way about how we chose
to work with you because we might be distant cousins (sharing the
name of Hunter) and that meant you had to do a great job. The truth
is that you did a great job because you were always professional,
accessible, and knowledgeable. You never seemed to mind when
I called early in the morning, late at night or during your family
vacation. You were calm when I was anxious and you had a sense
of humor that kept us grounded in the process. Finally, because we
were working together “long distance”, I especially appreciated your
willingness to work with our local family member on our behalf.
I would not hesitate to hire you again. “
